Photographers are usually aware of the ways in which they can create interest in their images beyond the simple fact of the subject. This is what separates good pictures and bad pictures of the same thing. The following list describes some of the abstract elements in any photograph. Below the list is an example of how you can analyse a photograph looking for these things specifically and how this helps to give the image meaning:Focus:Which areas appear clearest or sharpest in the photograph? Which do not?
Light:Which areas of the photograph are brightest? Are there any shadows? Does the photograph allow you to guess the time of day? Is the light natural or artificial? Harsh or soft? Reflected or direct?
Line:Are there objects in the photograph that act as lines? Are they straight, curvy, thin, thick? Do the lines create direction in the photograph? Do they outline? Do the lines show movement or energy?
Repetition:Are there objects in the photograph that act as lines? Are they straight, curvy, thin, thick? Do the lines create direction in the photograph? Do they outline? Do the lines show movement or energy?
Shape:Do you see geometric (straight edged) or organic (curvy) shapes? Which are they?
Space:Is there depth to the photograph or does it seem shallow? What creates this appearance? Are there important negative (empty) spaces in addition to positive (solid) spaces? Is there depth created by spatial illusions i.e. perspective?
Texture:If you could touch the surface of the photograph how would it feel? How do the objects in the picture look like they would feel?
Value/tone: Is there a range of tones from dark to light? Where is the darkest value? Where is the lightest?

Photograms: A photogram is when you go in the dark room ant you place some object on some photograph paper and put all the object on it and put it under a red light and then you exposed it for 5 to 10 seconds such as.

So what went well I think the first picture didn’t go to well compared to all the other picture but I put it on my weebly because you can develop on the picture. The second is quite good I put all the picture in black and white because I thought it would look better and I think it dose does. The last picture I think is really good I just took it from an angle and it looked not as good as a nomal picture so I puts in black and white and it looked really good
ASSESSMENT
This photo was taken by Meatyard from all the pictures I'v looked at this it the one I look the most. This is because how it looks because the boy is right in the centre of the sticks on the tree. If you look carefully into this picture there are a couple of pattens with the sticks of the tree such as there are some shapes to triangles. The whole foreground is all in focus and the middle ground and back ground is not in focus I like this picture because it looks really strange

Dafna workshop
What we did with Dafna we had 2 slide shows and we took them out of the case and cut them up and replaced them in different places of coloured them in just make them look abstract such as. Dafna was always moving around the world she liked be a photography because she could bring her camera around ever with her. After we made the picture we put it back in the holder and put it in a slide show.
